Welcome to the synodality learning platform of the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (JST-SCU).
This global platform is part of the Center for Synodal Pathways and Ecclesial Flourishing at JST-SCU. The initiative accompanies the synodal path initiated by Pope Francis and consolidated in the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, now in its implementation phase under Pope Leo XIV.
We offer a growing catalog of open and certificate-bearing courses designed to translate synodality into pastoral practice. Learn how to foster listening and dialogue, build participatory structures, accompany diverse communities, and lead processes of communal discernment and mission. Our approach blends the academic rigor of JST-SCU with hands-on tools: short video lessons, facilitator guides, moderated forums, and formative assessments you can apply right away in parish, diocesan, and community settings. Move at your own pace, earn certificates where applicable, and connect your learning to real needs in your local context.
